Prof. Manish Gupta is a mathematician and obtained his Ph.D from IIT Kanpur. He is currently working as a
Faculty with DA-IICT. He has 15 years of interdisciplinary and international research exposure across different
countries such as USA, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and India in areas of cryptography, coding
theory, wireless communication, bio-informatics, systems biology and e-health.
Prof. Hrishikesh did his M.Tech from IIT Kanpur and obtained his Ph.D from Bremen, Germany on radio resource
management for WiMAX based systems. Subsequently, he was a researcher at the Institute for Digital
Communications, University of Edinburgh, UK. His main focus is on next generation wireless systems. He is
currently working on low cost wireless systems, multimedia streaming using Wi-Fi and digital health care systems.
He is currently at Dublin City University, Ireland as a Irish Research Follow.
Prof. Maniklal Das obtained his Ph.D from IIT Bombay in Information Technology and Security. He has over 10
years of international experience in research, teaching and development in the field of information systems,
cryptography, system analysis and design and payment systems. He is currently a Faculty at DA-IICT.
Mr. Neeraj Gupta obtained his masters in telecom networks from IIT Kanpur. He is currently working as a senior
technical manager with NEC, London. He is responsible for standardization, architecture, systems engineering and
development of various NEC products in wireless technologies (3G, UMTS, LTE, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, Femto etc). He
is also responsible for customer engagement and relationship development. Prior to that he was part of Motorola
Dr. Kannan Balaji obtained his Ph.D from IIT Kanpur. He began his career with IBM India research lab in 1998.
Subsequently, he served as a business and research analyst at the logistics Institute, Asia Pacific, Singapore and
also was a research analyst with Singapore MIT alliance. He is currently working as senior technology consultant
for Friar Tuck Singapore.
